Religious Studies is the study of different religions and worldviews. It is a subject dedicated to understanding human values, behaviour and traditions. In year 7 Religious Studies you will look at the two largest religions in the UK, Christianity and Islam; exploring the beliefs of these religions, as well as considering what it is like to be a Christian or Muslim in the UK compared with other parts of the world. You will also look at courageous advocates from different faiths and worldviews, investigating their values and how these motivated them to advocate for changes in education, poverty and the climate.
