Target Setting

All maintained schools are required to set and publish specific targets for school improvement.

These targets relate to those pupils at the end of Key Stage 3 in 2015.

Percentage of pupils expected to achieve:

Level 5 in English + Mathematics 96%

Level 5 in Science 98%

The targets set for current Year 11 pupils who will be taking their GCSE examinations in summer 2015 are as follows:

85% of pupils attaining 5 or more GCSEs including English and Mathematics or equivalent

85% making expected level of progress in English from level achieved at the end of KS2

84% making expected level of progress in Mathematics from level achieved at the end of KS2
