Future Pathways

Many of our students choose to progress to academic university courses. Our Sixth Form staff, form tutors, and teachers have real expertise in providing the right conditions for students to make aspirational, informed, and wise decisions about university study, apprenticeships, or employment. Each and every student has access to personalised and expert support in choosing the path that is the best fit for them.

There are representatives from our Sixth Form currently studying in colleges at Oxford and Cambridge and a high percentage of Sixth Form students attain places at prestigious universities. Increasing numbers are securing competitive apprenticeships including training at companies including Thames Water and Amazon.

In 2025 students leaving the Sixth Form chose to study courses including Cybersecurity at Gloucestershire, Bioveterinary Science at Liverpool, Art History and Visual Culture at Nottingham, Architecture at Bath, Physics at Oxford, Biomedical Science at Warwick, several different institutions for Law, and Football Business at UCFB

Once more they are showing the ambitious and diverse range of choices that studying in the Sixth Form at Ranelagh enables students to make.
