Please refer to the admissions information below before completing either the In Year Supplementary Information Form 2021-22 for admission for the current academic year or the Supplementary Information Form for admission in September 2022 [Year 7].
Admissions arrangements from September 2021
In February 2021, the Governing Body agreed to admit 9 students above PAN for Year 7 entry in September 2021.
The Governing Body has agreed the arrangements for admission to the school from September 2021. If you consider that these are not in compliance with the current School Admissions Code or the law relating to admissions, you can object to the Schools Adjudicator. Objections must be referred to the Adjudicator by 15 May 2020. Details of how to object can be found on the Office of the Schools Adjudicator website at www.education.gov.uk/schoolsadjudicator
Applicants to the school are required to complete both the Common Application Form supplied by their home Local Authority and also the Ranelagh School Supplementary Information Form if they wish their application to be considered against the following oversubscription criteria
- Christian faith (categories A-D)
- ‘Looked After Children’
- Staff children
- Medical, physical, psychological condition
- Sibling connection

Supplementary Information Form 2021 (to be used by applicants applying for Year 7 from 12th September 2020)
Application may be made at any time after the start of the year for admission to Ranelagh. The Common Application Form must be returned to Bracknell Forest and the In-Year Supplementary Information Form (if appropriate) to Ranelagh School. In appropriate cases the Governors will have full regard to the BFC Fair Access Protocol. Ranelagh complies with Bracknell Forest’s timeline for admissions and therefore an application for the next academic year can be made no earlier than the date set out in Bracknell Forest’s Guide to In-Year Applications.
